Yesterday’s article focused on the rise in crime on the Chicago Transit Authority trains and buses between 2009 and 2011. The increase in crime is due mainly to the heavy use of smartphones, tablets, iPods and other electronic devices, thieves target for the quick cash that they bring. Though crimes are down this year the level of violence that takes place during the robberies appears to be increasing.
