College Students: Don’t Become a Sexual Assault Victim

All students, both male and female, need to increase their personal and situational awareness.
Notre Dame has been in the news recently because of how they responded to accusations of sexual assault on their campus.
Hopefully something positive will come out of the investigation and new procedures will be put in place that would tell investigators to immediately interview the alleged assailants. Notre Dame’s campus police waited 2 weeks in one instance and 11 days in another, to question the alleged assailants.
It would be great if the whole process wasn’t even necessary and that college campuses would be free of this type of assault, but wishing won’t make it happen. Continue reading….
