The student charged with the stabbing picked a good time to attack. The victims were stuck in line between two doorways making it difficult to escape or defend themselves.

If one of the victims had made a move and escaped out the front or backdoor it would have changed everything. When entering a store or restaurant take a moment to find another exit in case of an emergency.
